Setting Sail
On this particular July afternoon, the weather is perfect! There is a decent breeze, and that has brought the urban sailors out to the waters of the former Lake Calhoun.

Description
Like so many people, I am longing for the days when we can all travel again. I am happy to share some of my on-location paintings. This painting was done en plein air in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
This original work was painted with gouache paint on 140lbs. archival watercolor paper.
Gouache paint is known for its wonderful colors and velvety matte finish. This is a work on paper and therefore should be framed behind glass or plexiglass.
The painting is packed in a transparent plastic bag with a thick layer of foam core to prevent any bending. It can be stored this way on a shelf until you decide to frame it. It will be shipped in a hard card box.
This painting is being sold unframed.
