Waiting for the Wind
The Saturday morning air is heavy with moisture as you sit and watch the sailboats bobbing in the water. The sun is just peeking up over the line of trees giving the sky a glow of orange and pink. Everything is quiet as you enjoy your coffee and ease into the weekend.
Like so many people, I am longing for the days when we can all travel again. I am happy to share some of my on-location paintings. This painting was done en plein air in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
This original work was painted with casein paint on 140lbs. archival watercolor paper.
Casein paint is known for its wonderful colors and velvety matte finish. This is a work on paper and therefore should be framed behind glass or plexiglass.
The painting is packed in a transparent plastic bag with a thick layer of foam core to prevent any bending. It can be stored this way on a shelf until you decide to frame it. It will be shipped in a hard card box.
This painting is being sold unframed.
