Your work is truly inspirational. You are my driver through the creative process, thoughtfully explaining and teaching every step of the way. I am often wondered by the photographic like quality of your paintings from afar. You call it "the trick of the eye" ....from a distance on the mantle....i swear they are clear photographs......up close....sharp lines give ways to soft curves and texture. This is "the technique" which you carefully explain,....to create and mesh colors and shadows to create the final result. Your perspective is honed and your talent grand. I'm proud of you JeffreySmith.........keep working, exploring and learning....and i'll enjoy the ride from the passenger seat!
